Catscratch restorations are down now
Howdy you all, it's your ol' mod here with some law stuff and statements not intended for young'uns.
In accordance with a very important law that totally was needed, I decided to go ahead and take down the Viva La Catscratch website.
Since it's now a felony charge to stream and distribute cartoons that have no other viable outlet, I'd be on the same floor as musty old individuals that charge after underdeveloped 16-year-old orifices.
Guess we're gonna have to hold on for yet another decade before we can once more watch a wholesome half-hour of a black kitty-cat slapping around a Kevin McDonald sock puppet in a resolution that doesn't look like it came from the side of a freshly used fire hydrant.
Thanks for reading my cold, dead text, for now I must …

- 1 Footage

The footage is 16:9, but that's because there are black bars to fill it out because Catscratch was in 4:3. Not to mention there's a transparent Nickelodeon logo on the bottom right.
Now, wouldn't the idea of purchasing rights to view a TV …
There is no upcoming Catscratch film.
Believe me, I'm holding out for a return of our favorite pointy felines as much as the next animation efficianato, but until factual news springs up, please refrain from adding "information" concerning such a thing from the pages. This Wiki is dedicated to factual data when it comes to production, or at least educated speculation. I'm getting kinda sick of coming back here to multiple pie-in-the-sky edits of who's gonna voice who in the Spanish dub of a movie that hasn't even been spoken of by Nickelodeon yet. Unless you can bring factual set-in-stone evidence of there being an authentic Catscratch TV movie to the table, keep it off the pages. Please.
GEAR to be re-released as a NEW PRINTING!
I mean, I already knew of this for a while, but I find it'd be mildly appropriate to mention word of this upcoming event on this Wiki. As some may know, Catscratch was actually the TV adaptation of Doug TenNapel's first graphic novel, named GEAR, which is now celebrating it's 20th anniversary!
I, for one, will be stoked to reread this classic, and possibly compile the alterations in this new printing (Yeah, there's gonna be changes in this one .) It's also wonderful to know that Doug still thinks about Mr. "Black" Blik, Gordon and Waffle (Simon, also)
